At Aish we have a team of engineers poised for problem solving.
We are skilled at designing and developing technology solutions using leading edge techniques and toolsets to provide product and system level designs from requirements capture through to qualification and verification. Our broad range of designs span, for example, simple environmental monitors through to complex multi-processor distributed architecture solutions.
In order to provide the optimum technology solutions, our expertise in mechanical engineering can be utilised to ensure that the equipment can survive whatever environmental conditions are demanded by our customers.
Once we have completed and delivered a design our involvement doesn’t end there – we can provide whole lifecycle support for all our designs and products.
The engineering team can provide a complete systems engineering design capability from requirements capture and management, trade and design studies, system and architecture design, including architectural partitioning and verification and qualification test design.
Our electronics team design and develop high performance power, digital and analogue systems using both fully custom bespoke hardware and COTS components, or a mixture of the two. We use a state of the art suite of design tools to perform, for example, schematic capture, PCB layout, circuit simulation, and thermal modelling.
Our engineers have a wealth of experience designing:
- Digital electronics, including microprocessor, microcontroller and digital signal processing systems
- FPGA design for applications requiring low power, high speed or obsolescence mitigation
- Precision analogue circuits, examples include environmental monitoring, precision measurement, precision control and signal processing
- High precision, high performance designs for precision power conversion
Our designers can make use of the latest component technologies including surface mount, ball grid array and multi-layer PCBs. Product can be designed to various standards and legislative requirements such as CE, Military or customer specific.
The software engineering team has extensive experience of designing and developing complex, multi-threaded systems from device drivers through to complete user interfaces and systems connectivity. We can design and develop software for diverse platforms such as PC, COTS or embedded systems including both Aish designed and third party hardware.
Our software can be written in C, C++, C#, Java, and assembler running on Windows, Windows Embedded, .NET Framework, Linux, VxWorks, ThreadX and custom real-time operating systems. For embedded systems we can develop from the “bare metal” upwards. We can involve our customers in user interface prototyping for early customer feedback.
All of our software work is supported by state of the art development environments and toolsets, and is managed under full configuration control.
